Formation of Key Committees at Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil Polytechnic Institute

At Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil Polytechnic Satara (KBPPS), the well-being and development of students have always been a priority. Under the leadership of Principal N.B. Devi Sir and the collective effort of all Heads of Departments (HODs) , faculty, and staff, the institute has formed various committees to address the diverse needs and concerns of students. 1. Anti-Ragging Committee

The Anti-Ragging Committee plays a crucial role in maintaining a safe and respectful environment for all students. This committee ensures that the campus remains free from any form of harassment, bullying, or ragging. Through awareness programs, strict monitoring, and prompt action against any ragging-related incidents, the committee upholds the dignity and safety of every student.

2. Student Grievance Redressal Committee

Recognizing the importance of student welfare, the Student Grievance Redressal Committee was formed to address any concerns or issues that students might face during their academic journey. Whether it's academic-related problems, issues with faculty, or general campus facilities, the committee provides a platform where students can voice their grievances and ensure timely resolution.

3. Women Grievance Redressal Committee (GRC)

Empowering women and providing a secure environment is a top priority at KBP Polytechnic. The Women Grievance Redressal Committee was set up to support female students and staff in case of any grievances, including incidents related to gender discrimination, harassment, or unfair treatment. The committee ensures that women on campus are treated with respect, and their concerns are addressed promptly and effectively.

4. Medical Care System Committee

Health and well-being are integral to the success of any academic institution. The Medical Care System Committee ensures that students and staff have access to necessary medical care. The committee coordinates with local health facilities to provide emergency services, organizes health camps, and ensures the availability of basic first-aid resources across the campus. The aim is to create a healthy and secure environment for all.

5. Internal Committee

The Internal Committee at KBP Polytechnic, functions as a crucial governing body to monitor and maintain internal standards of discipline, academic progress, and overall management. 6. Committee for SC/ST Students

In line with the institute's commitment to equality and inclusivity, the Committee for SC/ST Students was formed to address the unique challenges faced by students from Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes. This committee works towards ensuring equal opportunities for these students, promoting their academic progress, and providing assistance in overcoming social or economic barriers to their education.

7. Entrepreneurship Development Cell

The Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) encourages students to explore the world of business and innovation. This committee aims to cultivate an entrepreneurial mindset among students by providing guidance, resources, and mentorship. The EDC organizes workshops, seminars, and networking events to help students understand the basics of entrepreneurship and startup culture, enabling them to transform ideas into successful ventures.
